What we'll learn

In this hour gathering we will practice creating conscious moments of enjoyment that we can bring into our daily lives. We will explore different ways to activate our awareness joyfully, then shift that joy inward to harmonize the body, emotions, mind and spirit.

Expect to move a bit, so wear comfortable clothes.

Bring something to write with and on, it is advisable to have a particular journal or book for meditation if possible.

Be open to whatever comes up! We will use different techniques to develop relaxation, and focus. Meditation is a practice, not a result, so one may not experience a quiet mind during meditative practice. You are doing meditation right as long as you are setting the time for yourself to meditate. So, register your seat today and set yourself up for a practice that will lead you to greater peace in mind and body!

Brian is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor, personal trainer and holistic health coach with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. Through his own development in the practice of yoga he came to understand a holistic perspective of health and fitness, which he now shares with his students and clients. His aim is to teach others how to know their bodies and themselves more deeply through the practice of yoga.

Brian incorporates traditional yoga techniques along with conscious movement practices that provide an experience both deeply revealing and transformative for the body and mind. By blending a practical knowledge of movement mechanics and posture with a holistic view of the body, Brian’s classes offer a safe and effective road to a healthy life.

His practice is successful in reducing the negative effects of physical, mental and emotional stress or tension, and providing safe and effective recovery after injuries. He also works to support other fitness and athletic goals through coaching proper movement and a deep presence and connection of the mind and body through the practice of yoga.
