Class Descriptions:
Hatha Yoga: Practice the ancient system of Hatha Yoga in a 60-minute class that provides instruction on breath, posture and awareness to support all health and fitness goals. Hatha Yoga, the integration of energy and force, is an ancient method of aligning mind, body and spirit that offers students the opportunity to learn about their own human experience through the direction of awareness and energy in specific postures and movements. With regular practice, this system of yoga can be used to support physical health and longevity, mental acuity and focus, and emotional fortitude and balance.
Hatha Flow Yoga: In this 60-minute practice, students will develop awareness through posture, movement and breath by linking together hatha yoga postures in a dynamic sequence that improves mobility, balances energy and supports many physical and health related goals. This class will provide students with fun and accessible practices that invigorate the mind, body and spirit.
Power Flow Yoga: True power comes from focus. Yoga is an ancient system that provides the space and attention to develop the true potential of the human being. In this 60-minute strength focused yoga practice, students can begin to tap into and develop their power in mind and body. Holding postures and moving with intention and breath, we will explore what possibilities can be achieved with a focused mind and a steady and open body. All levels of student welcome, modifications are always provided for any physical ability level.
